The Challenge of Israel

R0.00

Israel and its people remain a challenge to the world. This tiny country is always in the news. It has even been accused of fostering world tension. Scores of resolutions have been passed against Israel at the United Nations…

Our range of DVDs affords people the opportunity to increase their knowledge and understanding of the Bible. With more filming to be done and the subsequent editing in the Kerugma studios in South Africa, Naas and Marina continue with their work on the Exploring series.

Does Israel have a right to exist? If so, where should the borders be drawn? What about the Palestinians? Will Israel be forced into exile again? What should the Christian response be towards Israel and the Jews?

Rev. Malcolm Hedding, Executive Director of the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem, answers these questions from a Biblical viewpoint. What the Bible says about these issues.

You will be fascinated to learn what God’s purposes are for Israel and how to pray for her as a nation. You will also be challenged to “take off your shoes” in humility before God in order to have a servant heart towards Him and His people.

Duration: 58 minutes

International Christian Embassy Jerusalem (ICEJ). In 1980 Christian supporters of Israel established the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem as a practical expression of the desire of believers throughout the world to bless and comfort Zion. The Embassy opened after the international community condemned Israel for declaring united Jerusalem the “eternal and indivisible capital” of the reborn Jewish state. As 13 nations moved their embassies from Jerusalem to Tel Aviv due to a threatened Arab oil embargo, 1400 Christians from 40 countries decided to open their own Embassy in Jerusalem. It was an act of solidarity with the Jewish people’s 3000-year-old connection to their holy city. Today, Christians everywhere have an Embassy representing them in Jerusalem, an effective channel for their concern and love for Israel.
