In this interview with Rev. Malcolm Hedding, Executive Director of the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem, he outlines the special relationship between God and Israel concerning the national destiny of the Jewish people in their national homeland.

Replacement Theology refutes this relationship saying that God’s special blessings and promises to Israel ended with their rejection of the Messianic credentials of Jesus. The early church fathers distanced the church from the Jews as early as the 4th Century AD. In many instances the church has usurped the blessings and promises of God for the Jewish people, becoming in effect the Israel of God.

This discussion focuses on the everlasting covenant that God made with the Jewish people, the roots of anti-Semitism, the role of the church in supporting Israel and the biblical foundations of Christian Zionism.
